Department of Smart Farm

The department of Smart Farm is a new high-tech department established in 2021 and aims to train field-specific professionals in smart farm fields where future agriculture, ICT, Artificial Intelligence, Big data are combined. Our department will conduct advanced convergence research on future-oriented agricultural life combining agriculture, life, environment, and engineering.

The 4th industrial revolution enabled the optimization of the agricultural life industry, and ‘Bayer’, a multinational company, is on the verge of becoming a "Google of Future Agriculture" as a leader in "Digital Agriculture" by acquiring "Monsanto." Our department is working hard on education and research to learn the theory and practice of the entire smart farm field in line with this trend, and to train excellent professionals with both academic theory and field technology adaptability through an engineering approach.
